Victims fell as a result of an explosion that rocked parts of the city of Aden, which is under the control of the UAE-backed Transitional Council in southern Yemen.
Sources said that an explosion occurred in the Al-Masbahi scrap press in the Al-Basatin neighborhood in Dar Saad district, during the process of transporting scrap from a small truck (Dina) to a trailer.
They added that the scrap contained old war remnants, and during the friction between the metal materials during the transport, the explosion occurred.
Sources confirmed that the explosion led to the death of the worker, Riyadh Mansour Abdullah Mansour (35 years old), who lives in the displaced persons camp, and the injury of 11 others, including 8 seriously injured.
