The of Change and Reconstruction has strongly condemned the recent joint airstrikes by Israeli, American, and British forces, which targeted Yemen during the mass gathering at Al-Sabeen Square in Sanaa. The attacks coincided with a nationwide mobilization in solidarity with the Palestinian cause, particularly Gaza.

According to the government, the airstrikes hit areas surrounding Al-Sabeen Square and the Haziz Power Station in Sanaa Governorate. Despite the aggression, thousands of Yemenis remained steadfast in their participation at Al-Sabeen Square, showing an unparalleled level of public engagement and solidarity.

“The aggression did not deter participants from continuing their presence amid unprecedented popular engagement,” the government stated.

The Government of Change and Reconstruction reaffirmed its stance against the aggression, declaring that any attack on Yemen would not go unpunished. “Our Armed Forces are fully capable of defending Yemen and ensuring that any aggression against our country is met with appropriate retaliation,” it said.

The government also praised the unwavering solidarity and resilience of the Yemeni people, describing it as a reflection of their faith-based identity and a powerful message to the world. “We commend the widespread popular solidarity and steadfastness, which embody the faith-based identity of our Yemeni people and send a strong message to the world,” the statement added
