The Hamas Movement has held the Israeli occupation government responsible for any disruption that may affect the implementation of the ceasefire agreement and its remaining stages.

“The occupation is still stalling the implementation of the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement through persisting in blocking al-Rashid street and preventing the return of displaced people who try to go by foot from the south to the north,” Hamas said in a statement on Saturday.

A citizen was martyred on Saturday afternoon when the Israeli occupation forces opened fire at a gathering of citizens who were in the east of an-Nuseirat refugee camp waiting for a chance to return to their homes in northern and central Gaza.

In a related incident, the IOF continued to open fire at thousands of displaced civilians who were gathering in the streets of Salahuddin and al-Rashid in the east of Gaza and injured at least five of them, including a child on Sunday morning.

Those citizens were waiting to be allowed to return to their homes in northern and central Gaza after al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas handed over a new group of Israeli captives in Gaza City yesterday.

Palestinian officials in Gaza also accused today the IOF of continuing to violate the ceasefire agreement through closing the Netzarim corridor area and barring displaced citizens from returning to their homes.
