The Minister of Health and Environment, Dr. Ali Sheban, met on Sunday with Konstantinos Psykakos, Deputy Program Responsible at Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Switzerland.
The meeting discussed aspects related to healthcare, particularly in the governorates of Ibb and Hodeidah, and the enhancement of cooperation between the two sides to achieve common goals in the healthcare sector.
The meeting emphasized the importance of expanding the emergency team project in Hodeidah governorate to include other areas, as well as improving the speed of emergency response and saving lives.
During the meeting, the Minister of Health praised the organization’s efforts in improving the health situation and the services provided to citizens.
He also reaffirmed the ministry’s readiness to provide all necessary facilitation and coordinate with relevant entities to enhance emergency services and improve healthcare services.
