Hezbollah offered on Friday its deepest condolences on martyrdom of top commander of Hamas’ Al-Qassam Brigades and a number of other commanders during the battle of “Al-Aqsa Flood” in Gaza.
In a statement, Hezbollah’s Media Relations Office said: “Hezbollah offers its deepest condolences and congratulations on the martyrdom of Al-Qassam Brigades’ Commander Mohammad Deif and a group of his senior comrades from the members of the Military Council.”
“We declare our pride in these honorable leaders who remained in the battlefield until their last moments.”
The statement praised commander Deif who “spent his life fighting the Israeli occupation which tasted bitter defeat in the battle of “Al-Aqsa Flood”.”
“Martyr Deif will remain an icon for the free people who will continue the path of resistance,” Hezbollah stated.
The Lebanese resistance group stressed, meanwhile that “the blood of the martyred leaders along with all martyrs who fell in the battle of “Al-Aqsa Flood” resulted in the victory which has forced the enemy to cease fire and release a number of Palestinian prisoners.”
Earlier on Thursday, Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas Palestinian resistance group, declared martyrdom of commander Deif and other top commanders during the more than 15-month Israeli war on Gaza Strip.
