Imam Abdullah bin Hamza Mosque in Sahar Opened After Restoration

Director of the General Authority for Endowments Office in Sa’ada Governorate, Lutfi Al-Awawi, inaugurated the Hijrat Ma’in Mosque “Imam Abdullah bin Hamza Mosque” in Sahar District after its restoration, rehabilitation and the addition of new facilities.

Al-Awawi listened to an explanation from the Director of Mosques, Ali Al-Mahtoori, and the Maintenance and Mobile Workshop Officer, about the work carried out in the restoration and rehabilitation of the mosque, which included the construction of bathrooms, leveling the mosque yard, building a wall, gates and entrances, rehabilitating the electrical network and maintaining the audio.

The Director of the Authority’s Office pointed out the historical and archaeological importance of the mosque as one of the oldest mosques in the governorate, despite the tampering with its archaeological landmarks in the past decades.

He stressed the need for everyone to cooperate in caring for the houses of God and taking care of them as platforms for spreading awareness and moral, religious and spiritual values.
