A meeting was held in Sana’a today, chaired by Minister of Information, Hashem Sharaf al-Din, to discuss the mechanism for implementing the media response to events and developments, as well as contents of the speech by the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi.
The meeting, which included the media response team consisting of public media outlets (TV, radio, and print), addressed the aspects related to dealing with the Leader’s speeches and transforming them into media policies, guidelines, and actionable weekly programs.
The meeting reviewed the team’s tasks, including preparing weekly media plans to keep up with developments, ensuring the consistency of the media narrative with the contents of the Leader’s speeches, and ensuring effective implementation by each media outlet of its part in the media response plan, in accordance with the set policies, guidelines, and tasks.
The Minister of Information emphasized the responsibility of media outlets in actively mobilizing efforts to unite the energies in the battle of “The Promised Conquest and the Holy Jihad for Al-Quds,” in an organized manner that helps counter the intensive media campaigns waged by the hostile media machine, aimed at deterring Yemen from its position of support for Gaza and the Palestinian cause, based on humanitarian, moral, and religious grounds.
Minister Sharaf al-Din pointed out that, in the face of Arab betrayal, normalization, and the brutality of the Israeli enemy and arrogance of the American enemy, Yemen, with its leader and people, has emerged as the only country supporting Gaza at this prominent level, from the first day of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle, through various stages, up to the fifth phase of escalation against the Zionist enemy.
He expressed hope that the media would play an active role in following the latest developments and victories achieved by the Yemeni Armed Forces, positively engaging with the weekly speeches of the Leader of the Revolution, and translating them into well-studied media materials, analysis, commentary, and in-depth exploration of their contents.
The Minister clarified that the media response team was selected from experienced media personnel, and that a specific mechanism will be followed to implement innovative media plans.
