An international organization has accused Israel of being responsible for the worsening humanitarian situation in Yemen.
In a post on the “X” platform, Doctors Without Borders expressed its deep concern about the rapid deterioration of the humanitarian situation in Yemen, following the recent attacks on Sana’a airport and Hodeidah port.
The organization said: The situation has become worse after the recent attacks, and we are monitoring with great concern the negative effects these attacks are causing on civilians.
The organization added: These attacks have disrupted the entry of humanitarian aid through Hodeidah port, forcing our teams to modify plans for distributing medical supplies, which contributed to delaying their arrival to beneficiaries at a time of dire need.
The organization called for not targeting vital civilian infrastructure to ensure that humanitarian aid reaches the people who need it most as quickly as possible.
