PM Reviews Extent Of Damage To Haziz Power Station During His Meeting With Minister Of Electricity

Today, Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Nasser al-Rahawi met with the Minister of Electricity, Energy, and Water, Dr. Ali Saif, and his deputy, Adel Saleh Bader.

During the meeting, they reviewed the extent of the damage inflicted on the Haziz power station following the aggression by the US, Israeli, and British forces on the station last Friday, as well as the ministry’s alternative plan, represented by the Public Electricity Corporation, to restore the electrical power.

In the meeting, the Prime Minister reaffirmed that the cowardly American, British, and Zionist aggression would only make the Yemeni people stronger and more determined to continue supporting the oppressed people  in Gaza, no matter the sacrifices required.

He urged the leadership of the Ministry and the Electricity Corporation to be constantly prepared and ready to handle any new aggression to ensure the swift restoration of services.

The prime minister expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the actions taken by the leadership of the Ministry and the Electricity Corporation, as well as their immediate efforts to repair the damage to power stations in Sana’a and Hodeidah Governorate.

He praised the efforts of the technical staff of the Ministry and the Electricity Corporation for their significant and ongoing work in assessing and repairing the damage to power generation stations.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Electricity and Water and his deputy presented the details of the alternative plan, its implementation mechanism, and its importance in light of the continued US, British, and Israeli aggression on Yemen, to ensure the continuation of services and prevent any disruption to citizens’ needs.
