Swedish television announced that 38-year-old Salwan Momika was killed after being shot inside an apartment in the Hovsjö area of ​​Södertälje city on Wednesday evening.

Silvan Momika, of Iraqi origin, was known for organizing events to burn copies of the Holy Quran and incite hatred against Muslims.

According to reports, the incident took place late Wednesday evening, when police and medical teams received a report of gunfire inside an apartment building after 11 pm.

Police spokesman Daniel Wickdal reported that a man in his forties was found shot inside an apartment and was taken to hospital.
