Sana’a University concluded its weekly supportive actions for Gaza, lasting 15 months, with a mass rally, celebrating Gaza’s victory under the slogan “In honor of our weekly marches supporting Gaza, you are not alone, and you will never be alone.”
The participants, including university leaders, academics, staff, and students, raised Yemeni and Palestinian flags, congratulating the Palestinian people and resistance in Gaza for their historic victory over the Israeli-American aggression.
They emphasized that their participation was a response to the call of God and His Messenger, expressing gratitude to God for the victory and the defeat of the Israeli and American forces, citing it as a divine triumph.
The participants reiterated their unwavering commitment to the Palestinian cause, stating their continuous and sincere support for Palestine, promising that they would stand by the Palestinian people until the liberation of all of Palestine and the end of the Israeli occupation.
A statement was issued during the rally, commended the Palestinian resistance, particularly the fighters in groups like Al-Qassam Brigades, Al-Quds Brigades, and other Palestinian factions, for their sacrifices, patience, and dedication in achieving the victory.
The statement paid tribute to the sacrifices of Palestinian leaders and martyrs, such as Ismail Haniyeh and Yehya Sinwar, as well as the people of Gaza who endured the harshest crimes of genocide.
The statement also recognized the sacrifices made by Hezbollah fighters, including leader Hassan Nasrallah, and the Iraqi resistance forces, who have supported Palestine in their struggle.
It highlighted the significance of the Quranic project and the leadership of the martyr leader Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi in guiding Yemen towards a path of resistance and resilience.
The statement concluded with a pledge to follow the leader’s directions in facing all stages of escalation and continued support for Gaza, emphasizing their readiness to confront any external threats or attempts to divert attention from the Palestinian cause.
