Yemen’s Shura Council has lauded the remarkable achievements of Yemen’s security agencies in successfully thwarting the hostile activities of the British MI6 intelligence agency and the Saudi intelligence agency.
In a statement, the council described this accomplishment as a major milestone for Yemen’s security and intelligence agencies, emphasizing that it constitutes a significant preemptive strike that disrupted the plans of hostile forces aiming to undermine Yemen’s security, stability, and sovereignty.
The council commended the exceptional vigilance and security awareness displayed by the agencies, highlighting their active role in countering plots targeting Yemen in service of global Zionism. It noted that these threats are a direct consequence of Yemen’s principled stance in supporting national causes, particularly the Palestinian cause.
The council affirmed that this operation marks another victory for the Yemeni people in their struggle, under the leadership of Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, against the forces of evil and oppression, in defense of Yemen’s sovereignty, land, and people.
The council called on all Yemenis to remain alert, stand united behind the revolutionary and political leadership, and cooperate with the security agencies to foil any plans aimed at destabilizing the country.
