The Shura Council has extended its congratulations to the Palestinian people and resistance fighters on their historic victory against the usurping entity and the signing of the ceasefire agreement, including the conclusion of a prisoner exchange deal.

This victory follows the remarkable steadfastness of the Palestinian people in the face of the Zionist war machine.

In a statement issued, the council described this victory as an extension of the triumph achieved during the launch of “al-Aqsa Flood” operation, which stunned the world and crippled the Zionist enemy’s movement within its own borders on October 7, 2023. The resistance fighters successfully accomplished all their objectives, seizing complete victory.

The council paid tribute to the legendary resilience of the people of Gaza, whose determination, along with the actions of the resistance fighters, represented the unshakable foundation on which the enemy’s ambitions were shattered. It noted that the only result of the Zionist entity’s actions was genocide, leading to over 152,000 people being killed or wounded.

The council emphasized that the Palestinian people’s willpower remains unyielding, refusing to surrender to the challenges imposed by the enemy. It reiterated that the temporary entity’s reliance on force will only lead to further resistance and failure in achieving its declared goals.

The council also praised the courageous and honorable stance of Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the leader of the revolution, along with the Yemeni people and armed forces, who supported the Palestinian cause based on religious duty and belief in the justice of the Palestinian struggle.

It acknowledged the sacrifices made by the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon and the resistance in Iraq, as well as global support for the Palestinian people during the Gaza aggression.

The Shura Council called on the international community, particularly the United Nations, the Security Council, and international human rights organizations, to monitor the ceasefire agreement, ensuring the Zionist entity’s compliance with its terms. It also urged the swift delivery of aid to address the dire humanitarian crisis facing the people of Gaza.
