A force affiliated with the UAE-backed Transitional Council kidnapped a pilot in Yemeni Airlines in the southern Yemeni city of Aden.
Sources said that an armed group on a vehicle affiliated with the Security Belt kidnapped the assistant pilot, Captain Adly Ali Baghdadi, while he was near his home in the Tawahi district. Adding that the gunmen took Baghdadi to an unknown location.
They noted that the kidnapping came days after Baghdadi refused to take off from Aden airport because a leader in the Transitional Council had boarded the plane while chewing qat and had some of it with him during a flight to Cairo.
