Tehran strongly condemned the US and British airstrikes on Yemeni infrastructure.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei considered the continued and repeated US, British and Zionist attacks on Yemen a clear violation of Yemen’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity and a violation of the principles and norms of international law and the UN Charter.
He warned that these aggressive acts would cause more insecurity and instability in the West Asia region, while praising the honorable stance of the Yemeni people and other free peoples in showing solidarity and support for the Palestinian people.
He called on the international community and Islamic countries, especially the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, to take more serious measures to stop the genocide in occupied Palestine and to help the displaced and refugees in Gaza.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman pointed to the continuation of the genocide being committed against the oppressed Palestinian people and strongly condemned the continued military and political support provided by the United States and Britain to the Zionist entity, which is considered their direct participation in committing heinous international crimes against the people of Gaza.
It is noteworthy that the US-British aggression coalition renewed its attacks on Yemen at dawn today, Sunday, as it launched 3 raids on Saada Governorate in the north of the country.
