Transport Ministry, Red Sea Ports Corporation Honor Marine Guides In Hodeidah

On Saturday, the Ministry of Transport and the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation honored marine guides at the Hodeidah, Salif, and Ras Issa ports for their dedication in keeping these vital facilities operational during the Israeli aggression.

Minister of Transport Mohammed Quhaim emphasized that this recognition highlights the marine guides’ contributions in ensuring the continuity of port operations despite external challenges.

He described the honor as a message of resilience and continued support for the Palestinian people, as well as defiance against global powers, particularly the United States and Israel.

Abdullah Abdo Ahmed Atifi, the Governor of Hodeidah  praised the collective efforts of the workers, engineers, technicians, and administrators at the Red Sea Ports, emphasizing the crucial role these ports play in supplying the Yemeni people with essential goods such as food and oil.

Zaid al-Washli, Chairman of the Red Sea Ports Corporation, noted that maritime work is a cornerstone of the global economy and vital to national development.

He stated that honoring the marine guides reflects the corporation’s deep appreciation for their role in maintaining the ports as key economic assets for Yemen.
