UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese said: “Poland must abide by the principles of universal justice and must arrest the Prime Minister of the occupation, Benjamin Netanyahu, if he travels there.
The UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese stressed in her statement that members of the International Criminal Court are obliged to arrest persons against whom the court has issued an arrest warrant.
The rapporteur recalled that Poland had previously criticized Mongolia for not arresting Russian President Vladimir Putin, and that Netanyahu should be subjected to the same treatment.
She stressed that the selective application of laws undermines multilateralism and the universality of international justice.
