United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) confirmed on Wednesday that hospitals in Gaza have become death traps, referring to the ongoing Israeli war of extermination and the fact that most hospitals in the Strip are out of service.
UNRWA explained in a post on the “X” platform that families in Gaza are disintegrating, children are dying of cold, and hunger is killing lives, calling for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
UNRWA’s statements come in light of the ongoing bombing and direct targeting of hospitals, as the three public hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip, namely Kamal Adwan, Beit Hanoun, and the Indonesian, have become out of service due to the escalation of the occupation’s aggression.
Only 14 hospitals out of 36 in Gaza are now partially operating and are facing a severe shortage of supplies, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
