The Republic of Yemen, through its leadership and people, congratulated the Palestinian resistance and its factions, particularly Hamas and Islamic Jihad, for achieving an honorable agreement with the Zionist entity, considering it a significant victory.
The Supreme Political Council highlighted the resilience of the Palestinian resistance, which thwarted the Zionist entity’s objectives despite massive sacrifices and atrocities, including over 46,000 martyrs and 110,000 wounded.
“The steadfastness of the Palestinian resistance fighters, despite the great sacrifices made by the Palestinian people and resistance leaders, has led to this momentous victory. The victory over the Zionist enemy has shattered all the declared objectives of the Israeli entity under the leadership of the criminal Netanyahu,” the statement read.
The Council extended condolences to the families of martyrs in Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, and Iran and congratulated liberated prisoners and their families.
It reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, emphasizing religious, humanitarian, and moral obligations.
The statement commended the role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in supporting, assisting the efforts of the Palestinian people to liberate themselves from occupation.
It affirmed that Yemen’s position is based on religious, humanitarian, principled, and moral grounds, aimed at supporting the Palestinian people
“The Republic of Yemen will continue to monitor the occupying Israeli entity’s compliance with the agreement that came into effect this morning .The Yemeni Armed Forces are in a state of continuous monitoring, readiness, preparedness in case any new developments arise, ” the statement concluded.
