A Training Program On Strategic Analysis And Strategy Formulation Launched

A training program on strategic analysis and strategy formulation organized by the Yemeni Organization for Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control has begun in Sana’a.

The five-day program aims to provide 36 of the organization’s leaders, general managers and employees with knowledge and skills on strategic planning, strategy formulation and the basic concepts of the strategic planning process and the formulation of the organization’s strategic plan according to a scientific approach and practical practices that use a set of applied methods to consolidate knowledge and link it to the practical aspect among the participants.

At the opening, the Executive Director General of the Yemeni Organization for Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control, Sam Al-Bashiri, pointed out the importance of the program in helping the organization perform its tasks according to a purposeful, measurable and time-bound executive strategic plan that includes the priorities of the programs and projects that the organization will work on.

He pointed out that the program’s outputs will enable the participating cadres of the organization to know the concepts related to strategic planning and possess the skill of analysis, extracting critical issues, identifying strategic alternatives, the ability to analyze risk management, follow-up and evaluation, and understanding the basics of strategy analysis and formulation.

He stressed the interest of the Authority’s leadership in developing the capabilities and skills of employees and raising their efficiency in various fields, which contributes to improving performance levels and implementing plans and programs in the required manner.

Al-Bashiri urged the participants in the training program to apply all the knowledge and skills they will receive in practical reality.

For his part, the trainer Hamdi Al-Sharjabi reviewed the contents and objectives of the training program.
