Al-Qassam Brigades Mourn Commander Muhammad Shaheen

Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, mourned the martyrdom of commander Muhammad Ibrahim Shaheen “Abu al-Baraa” on Monday evening, following an Israeli attack targeting a vehicle in the southern Lebanese city of Sidon.

The Al-Qassam Brigades said in an urgent statement a short while ago, “Shaheen was martyred in the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle in an assassination operation carried out by treacherous Zionist aircraft.”

It noted Shaheen’s pioneering role and his special fingerprints in the path of jihad, resistance, and confronting the enemy, starting from the Al-Aqsa Intifada and reaching the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle.

The statement indicated that Shaheen held “several advanced jihadist positions during his work in the Al-Qassam Brigades and concluded his jihad as a martyr, joining his brother, the martyr Qassam engineer Hamza Shaheen, and his pure martyr brothers who preceded him.”

The Al-Qassam Brigades affirmed their steadfastness in their pledge to continue the path of jihad and to preserve the pledge of the martyrs and prisoners until the Palestinian people’s dream of liberation and return is achieved.
