Jenin Battalion of the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, targeted the enemy forces storming the town of Al-Silat Al-Harithiya in Jenin, north of the West Bank, today, Monday, with an explosive device.
The Jenin Battalion said in a statement, “Our fighters in the Al-Silat Al-Harithiya Company were able at dawn today to detonate a highly explosive KJ37 ground explosive device prepared in advance on a military patrol at the entrance to Al-Silat Al-Harithiya, achieving confirmed injuries.”
It added in another statement that after contact was restored with one of its combat formations in the Al-Silat Al-Harithiya Company, “they confirmed to us that they were able at dawn today to confront the enemy forces and military reinforcements in the various fighting axes in the town and at the entrance to Al-Silat Al-Harithiya, and to shower them with heavy showers of direct bullets and pre-prepared explosive devices, achieving confirmed injuries.”
