American activists have called for the arrest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his visit to the United States, accusing him of committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza, according to reports from American media last night.
On February 2, Netanyahu departed for Washington, D.C., where he met with US President Donald Trump’s Middle East envoy, Steve Wietkoff, and also held talks with President Trump regarding the situation in Gaza.
On November 21, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and ousted Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, citing allegations of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
