Amran Governorate Police were able to uncover the identity of the accused of killing the victim Yahya Ali Yahya Abu Jaradah (28 years old) and arrest him, according to what was reported by the security media of the Ministry of Interior.
The governorate police explained that the victim was killed on February 2nd, where his body was found in a remote area in Qaflat Athar Directorate, with signs of severe beating and a shattered skull.
The police added that the perpetrator was initially unidentified, but the investigation teams continued their operations in collecting information and evidence, until they were able to identify the accused, who is called Farea Ahmed Ali Sari (30) years old.
The investigations revealed that the crime came against the backdrop of a financial dispute between the perpetrator and one of his relatives, as the victim was working as a mediator to resolve the dispute.
The accused lured him to a remote area, then assaulted him severely and smashed his head with a large stone, which led to his death.
The police confirmed that they were able, in coordination with the various security units in the directorate, to uncover the mystery of the crime and arrest the perpetrator, noting that the accused will be referred to justice as soon as the legal procedures are completed.
