The police of Rada’a District in Al Bayda Governorate stated that a group of outlaws opened fire on security personnel while they were carrying out a mission to arrest a wanted person, which forced the security personnel to respond to the source of the fire, resulting in the death of one of the gunmen.

The Rada’a Police explained that one of its patrols was on a mission to arrest Ali Abdul Qader Saleh Shoba (26 years old), who was accused of shooting and disturbing the public peace.

During the execution of the mission, the defendant Alawi Saleh Sakran (25 years old) and a group of gunmen intercepted the patrol and opened fire on it, which prompted the security personnel to respond, and the clash resulted in the death of the defendant Alawi Sakran.

The police confirmed that they will not hesitate to perform their duty of maintaining security and stability, enforcing the law, and deterring anyone who seeks to harm the lives, security, and property of citizens or disturb the public peace.
