Protests were held in several American cities against the plans to displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, which the Trump administration seeks to empty the Strip of its residents.
According to local sources, a march was launched in Manhattan, New York, despite the cold weather and snowfall, to protest the pressures exerted by the Trump administration on countries to accept the displacement plans.
A march also took place in Los Angeles, California, raising the Palestinian flag and banners denouncing the plans to displace residents of the Gaza Strip who have not yet recovered from the “genocide” carried out by the occupation authorities against the Palestinian people.
In Boston, Massachusetts, another march was held in rejection of the displacement plans and in support of the steadfastness of the Palestinian people on their land in light of all the liquidation projects for the Palestinian cause.
In a related context, the British capital, London, witnessed yesterday a massive march “For Palestine”, organized by civil society organizations and associations with the participation of university students, members of various communities, and members of the British House of Commons.
The march, which raised Palestinian and Lebanese flags, started in front of the House of Commons building in the famous Westminster neighborhood in the center of the British capital, and ended in front of the American embassy in Wandsworth.
The demonstrators raised slogans: Freedom for Palestine, No to genocide, and Stop arming the entity.
The march denounced the American position calling for displacement, affirming the right of the Palestinian people to live on their land and establish their state.
The march reflected the growing global popular position, which has become supportive of the Palestinian cause, and the systematic war of genocide that its people have been subjected to for seven decades.
Accounts of civil society organizations and associations published photographic and video posts of the march on the “X” platform, which reveal what the global street has become in its relationship with the Palestinian injustice.
