The Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Hatem Al-Dais, inaugurated a free community medical initiative organized by the Civilization University in cooperation with the National Center for Public Health Laboratories. The initiative will run for one week.
The initiative includes free medical examinations and services across various specialties, including clinical and laboratory tests, ECG, oral and dental examinations, optometry, ear, nose, and throat (ENT) check-ups, as well as physiotherapy.
During the inauguration, Dr. Al-Dais, accompanied by several officials, received a detailed explanation about the initiative, which aims to address the health needs of citizens.
He praised the efforts of the university and the National Center for Public Health Laboratories in providing these free services, particularly under the current circumstances.
He also emphasized the importance of advancing medical education and enhancing community services.”
The deputy minister of education and delegation reviewed the equipment in the medical laboratories and inspected the ongoing construction of the university hospital, which is being built in accordance with approved standards. The hospital aims to provide advanced health and educational services.
Attendees stressed the need to continue such initiatives to support underprivileged groups and strengthen partnerships between academic and health institutions.
