The Acting Governor of Dhalea, Abdul Latif Al-Shaghadri, inaugurated, on Wednesday, the Juban power station after its rehabilitation and maintenance.
Al-Shaghadri along with the director of the directorate, Saleh Al-Ghurbani, listened to an explanation from the director of the electricity corporation branch in the governorate, Engineer Hani Al-Zaqri, about the components of the power generation station and the additional loads that have been added. This will enable the provision of electricity to the directorate as part of the first phase.
He pointed out that the maintenance of the Damt network is being completed, with electricity expected to be provided to it during the second phase.
The Acting Governor praised the efforts of the electricity branch in restoring electricity to Juban district after an outage of more than ten years, noting the destruction of the power generators and the network due to the aggression, which caused the electricity outage in Juban and surrounding areas.
Additionally, Al-Shaghadri reviewed the progress of the work on preparing the central market in the city of Juban, which is currently being implemented by the Endowments Office.
