Director of the Presidency Office Ahmed Hamed, along with his leadership team and staff, visited the tomb of Martyr President Saleh al-Sammad in al-Sabeen Square on Tuesday to mark the annual commemoration of his martyrdom.
The visit included a wreath-laying ceremony led by Hamed and his deputy, Fahd al-Ezzi, in honor of President al-Sammad’s enduring legacy.
During the visit, the delegation recited prayers for the soul of the late president, his companions, and all the martyrs of Yemen and the Islamic nation.
Hamed highlighted President al-Sammad’s pivotal role in state-building, his unwavering commitment to safeguarding the nation through his “A Hand Builds and a Hand Protects” initiative, and his profound connection to Quranic culture, which deeply influenced his leadership style.
The delegation also toured a photo exhibition showcasing al-Sammad’s social, political, and revolutionary life, emphasizing his dedication to national causes, particularly the liberation of Yemen and the Palestinian cause.
Additionally, they were briefed on the Martyr Saleh al-Sammad Garden project in al-Sabeen Square, which will feature recreational facilities and agricultural spaces. The project is being funded by the Capital Sana’a’s Agricultural Projects Unit.
Hamed praised the progress of the project and emphasized the importance of completing it on time and in accordance with the specified standards.
