Dozens of Zionist settlers, on Wednesday morning, desecrated the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem under heavy protection from the occupation forces.
The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem reported that dozens of settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa courtyards in groups from the Maghariba Gate, carried out provocative tours, and performed Talmudic rituals and prayers and epic prostration in the eastern area of the mosque.
The occupation forces impose strict security and military measures on the entry of worshipers into Al-Aqsa Mosque, and detain their personal IDs at its external gates.
Recently, settlers’ incursions and violations of the sanctity of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque have been escalating, while calls continue to intensify the number of people staying at the mosque as the holy month of Ramadan approaches to repel settlers’ attacks.
