Eisenhower Commander: Yemen’s Missiles Have Never Been Seen Before

Commander of the US aircraft carrier “Eisenhower”, Captain Christopher Hill, revealed new details of the military operations of the Yemeni armed forces against US naval warships during the “Promised Victory and Holy Jihad” battle to support the Palestinian people.

Hill said in a podcast interview that the Red Sea battle was the most complex for the US Navy since World War II. He added, “There was something happening every day, whether it was a Yemeni missile or a drone, and these drones are big.”

He explained that the US Navy faced “in the Red Sea, Yemeni ballistic missiles, which fly high and then return vertically, and the Navy has never seen such missiles at sea before.”

He confirmed that the US Navy also faced several weapons in the Red Sea, including anti-ship cruise missiles, which are missiles that fly at a relatively low altitude and are difficult to detect because they are very close to the deck of the ship.

He confirmed that the Yemeni army’s drones are large, larger than a car, twice its size, with warheads built inside them so that they can make holes inside ships.

The commander of the US aircraft carrier “Eisenhower” claimed that the temperatures on board the ship in the Red Sea were unbearable, and it was difficult to sleep, stressing that they were asking meteorologists to find a cooler spot in the Red Sea.

The commander of the US aircraft carrier “Eisenhower”, Captain Christopher Hill, pointed out that many in the defense industry are concerned about aircraft carriers because they are expensive, as well as about the budget.

On February 21, the US Navy announced the dismissal of the commander of the aircraft carrier “USS Harry Truman” from his position after it collided with a merchant ship in the Mediterranean Sea near the entrance to the Suez Canal in Egypt.

According to a notification issued by Congress and confirmed by a Navy official, Snowden was dismissed due to a loss of confidence in his ability to command after the collision that occurred on February 12 between the aircraft carrier and the merchant ship (MV Besiktas-M) off the coast of Egypt near the entrance to the Suez Canal.

The aircraft carrier returned to port in Greece for emergency repairs on its starboard side, as the collision damaged the outer walls of two storage rooms, and the carrier’s exterior was damaged.

It is worth noting that the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out 8 military operations with ballistic and cruise missiles and drones on the US aircraft carrier “USS Harry Truman” and also carried out four military operations against the US aircraft carrier “Eisenhower” while supporting the Palestinian people.
