Endowments Authority Head Launches “Purify My House” Campaign At The Grand Mosque in Sana’a

Head of the General Authority for Endowments, Sheikh Abdul Majeed Al-Houthi, launched the “Purify My House” campaign at the Grand Mosque in Sana’a to prepare and clean the houses of God in preparation for the holy month of Ramadan 1446 AH.

At the launch, in the presence of the Deputy Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, Fahd Al-Ezzi, Sheikh Al-Houthi stressed the importance of caring for the houses of God and taking care of them, as this work has a great reward.

He pointed out that caring for mosques is not limited to caring for their cleanliness and maintenance, but also in their construction and activating their role in various religious and cultural aspects, educating people and consolidating their connection to God Almighty and worshipping Him and adhering to the Holy Quran.

The head of the Endowments Authority pointed out that purifying mosques is an essential part of the faith identity and culture of the Yemeni people ,urging the local authorities in the relevant directorates and offices and all official and community bodies to contribute to the success of the campaign.

After that, the head of the General Authority for Endowments and the Deputy Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic were briefed on the maintenance and restoration work being carried out in the Grand Mosque in Sana’a.

The Houthi scholar urged the engineering teams to expedite the completion of the restoration and maintenance work according to the specified timetable.

A number of the Authority’s agents, those in charge of the Grand Mosque, and a group of citizens participated in the launch of the campaign.
