European Union Assistance Mission Stationed At Rafah Crossing Between Egypt, Gaza

The European Union’s foreign policy official, Kaya Kallas, announced on Friday that the EU’s assistance mission was stationed at the Rafah crossing between Egypt and Gaza, which is a major crossing point for the Palestinian sector.

This comes as a source in Hamas and another informed on the file reported that the Rafah crossing will be opened today, Saturday, after a new exchange of hostages and detainees between Hamas and the Zionist entity.

Hamas published the names of three Israeli hostages who will be released today, Saturday, while the Prisoners’ Information Office, the Prisoners’ and Freed Prisoners’ Affairs Authority, and the Prisoners’ Club in Palestine revealed the fourth list of names of prisoners who will be released in the first phase of the exchange today, Saturday.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Media Office said in a statement: “Within the framework of implementing the fourth batch of the Flood of Freedom Deal, and after the Palestinian resistance handed over the names of the Zionist prisoners, 18 prisoners with life sentences, 54 prisoners with high sentences and life sentences, and 111 prisoners from the Gaza Strip who were arrested after October 7 will be released today, Saturday.”
