The scope of the angry popular protests denouncing the deterioration of living conditions in the occupied southern regions has expanded to Abyan after Aden, Al Dhale and Lahj.
Yesterday morning, the city of Zinjibar witnessed a popular demonstration of hundreds of citizens in an angry popular demonstration denouncing the deterioration of the economic, living and service conditions in Abyan and all its directorates.
The demonstrators raised slogans and banners denouncing and rejecting all practices practiced against the people of the governorate, especially the deterioration of all service and living conditions.
The demonstrators expressed their anger and extreme resentment due to the power and water outages, the suspension of education and the collapse of health without any interventions from the mercenaries to put an end to these problems.
During the demonstration, the protesters toured the streets and market of Zinjibar Directorate, raising banners denouncing, slogans and angry chants against the deterioration of various conditions in the governorate.
In a related context, media sources said that violent clashes erupted between the aggression mercenaries and the so-called “Homeland Shield” forces loyal to Saudi Arabia in the occupied city of Aden.
The sources added: The commander of the so-called Fourth Brigade in the Second Division of “Homeland Shield”, the mercenary Osama Al-Radfani, along with 25 of his soldiers, attempted to loot the brigade’s equipment from the Qa’wa camp affiliated with his forces at the Amran junction, west of Aden.
After instructions to prevent him, clashes erupted, resulting in injuries on both sides before he was arrested.
The incident comes amid the continued complete collapse of the security and living conditions in the occupied southern regions as a result of the deterioration of conditions and the inability of the mercenaries to find solutions to prevent the living disaster in those areas.
In this regard, Aden Governor Tariq Salam confirmed that the living conditions of citizens in Aden and the occupied southern governorates have reached dangerous and unprecedented levels of collapse and deterioration as a result of the occupation’s destructive policies.
Salam pointed out that what the Saudi-Emirati occupation is doing to starve the citizen reflects the hidden goals that the occupier tried to hide from the people of Aden and continued to delude them with its lies and false promises to turn Aden into another Dubai, while it has turned into an unbearable hell due to the occupier’s policy and tools.
He pointed out that the state of anger and peaceful protest of the citizens reflects the collective popular desire to expel the occupier and his tools that tampered with the capabilities and wealth of the homeland, destroyed all the components of life, looted and seized the people’s money without taking into account the suffering of the citizen and his critical circumstances throughout ten years of occupation.
Governor Salam considered what Aden and the occupied southern governorates are witnessing today as a result of the occupier’s policy that plunged them into chaos and caused an unprecedented collapse in living conditions and services, power and water outages, and the cessation of medical services in hospitals, in addition to the lethal doses that exacerbated the suffering of the citizens.
He stressed the importance of solidarity between all national forces and various segments of society in order to stand firmly against the occupier’s starvation policy, warning the occupation militias against confiscating citizens’ rights to demonstrate and protest.
The governor of Aden stressed that the attacks and suppression of peaceful demonstrations carried out by the occupation militias will not stop the growing popular anger against the occupier and its tools, but rather increase their strength and determination to continue their struggle and confront the occupier’s destructive projects.
