The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates reiterated its condemnation of the US administration’s plans to displace the Palestinian people from the Gaza Strip and seize control of it.

In a statement obtained by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the ministry emphasized that the forced displacement of the Palestinian people constitutes a flagrant violation of international law, particularly the Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949 and the Statute of the International Criminal Court of 1998.

The statement highlighted that the forced displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip aims to liquidate the Palestinian cause and undermines security and stability in the region and the world.

It stressed that America cannot achieve through pressure what it failed to achieve through war, and that both the U.S. and the usurping Zionist entity will fail in their attempts due to the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and their determination to hold onto their land.

The statement commended the positions rejecting attempts to displace the Palestinian people from the Gaza Strip and called on the international community, particularly Arab and Islamic countries, to stand united and form a solid barrier to thwart American plans. It also urged support for the resilience of the Palestinian people, the provision of all forms of humanitarian assistance, and contributions to the reconstruction of Gaza.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also warned against the escalation of the usurping Zionist entity’s actions in the West Bank and its incursions into the camps of Jenin, Tulkarm, and Tubas.

It reaffirmed the Republic of Yemen’s firm stance in supporting the right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state on all their national soil, with Jerusalem as its capital.
