The impact of Yemen’s support front for Gaza continues to preoccupy the Zionist enemy, despite the ceasefire in Gaza and the suspension of Yemeni operations.
Hebrew media have expressed concerns about the pivotal role Sana’a has established in the conflict and its ongoing preparations for future confrontations. There is no doubt that the Yemeni front aims to maximize the effectiveness of its operations in any upcoming battles.
The Zionist-affiliated newspaper The Jerusalem Post published a report confirming that, while the “Houthis may have stopped their attacks, they have not forgotten the war.” This statement highlights Yemen’s continued state of readiness—both popular and official—for any future developments in the conflict.
The newspaper noted that “from November 2024 to January 2025, the Houthis positioned themselves as the main front against ‘Israel’ by intensifying their use of ballistic missiles to target central Israel.” This refers to the significant missile escalation by the Yemeni Armed Forces deep into enemy territory in the months following the ceasefire in Lebanon. These operations reinforced the equation of preventing Gaza’s isolation and exerted substantial pressure on the enemy, alongside the heroic efforts of the Palestinian resistance, ultimately forcing Israel to accept a ceasefire in Gaza.
“The Yemeni missiles caused widespread panic across ‘Israel,’ forcing millions to seek shelter. This continued for two months, during which the Houthis demonstrated their ability to launch missiles every few days,” the newspaper reported.
The article also highlighted the escalation of Yemeni support operations and their impact on the enemy, noting that Yemen’s campaign against “Israel” began with targeting “Eilat” and southern “Israel” using drones and missiles. It later expanded to include attacks on ships linked to “Israel” in the Red Sea and, ultimately, the use of long-range missiles and drones to strike central Israel.
This progression indicates that the Yemeni front will introduce new surprises in any future confrontation, especially given the enemy’s failure—along with that of its allies—to halt or slow down the rapid development of Yemeni military capabilities.
The newspaper further underscored the extensive human and military preparations in Yemen to continue supporting the Palestinian people and their resistance, despite the ceasefire.
It interpreted recent military parades by mobilization forces as “a clear message of support to Hamas” and an indication that Yemenis “have not forgotten the war.”
