The Secretary General of the Local Council in Ibb Province, Amin Al-Warafi, inspected on Saturday the progress of work on the implementation of a number of road projects in Al-Mashneh District.
Al-Warafi inspected the progress of work on the rehabilitation and paving of Naqil Baadan Road (Phase II) with a length of 763 meters and a width of 8.5 meters, at an estimated cost of 148 million and 400 thousand riyals, where the completion rate reached 50 percent with joint funding from the Department of Community Initiatives in the province and the Emergency Development Interventions Unit.
Al-Warafi also inspected the project to rehabilitate the Thirty Street and Jabla for six openings, where the completion rate reached 60 percent, at a cost of 330 million riyals, funded by the Executive Unit for Construction and Road Maintenance, in addition to the project to rehabilitate the Jawazat Street linking Ibb and Al-Dhale’, 400 meters long and 10 meters wide, at a cost of 76 million riyals, with a completion rate of 65 percent funded by the Executive Unit for Road Maintenance.
Al Warafi praised the level of achievement in these vital projects, which targeted the most important streets and those most in need of maintenance. He stressed the need for evaluation and follow-up during the implementation process, to ensure adherence to the technical specifications and quality required according to international standards, taking into account the specified time period for implementation.
