The Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, Major General Hossein Salami, stated that the drone carrier “Shahid Baqeri” was created for defense in remote areas.. stressing the need to be able to fight anywhere far away and be present in any point in the world.

This came during the ceremony of the new Iranian aircraft carrier “Shahid Baqeri” joining the naval force of the Revolutionary Guard, which was held this morning, Thursday, in the Gulf, in the presence of Major General Mohammad Baqeri, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces.

Salami stressed in his speech, on the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, that independence is one of the greatest achievements of the Islamic Revolution, adding that the ability to determine political destiny requires the possession of power.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Revolutionary Guards pointed out that in the political geography of the world, there is no place for the weak.

He explained that the great powers are trying to draw the political map of the world according to their interests, and seek to subjugate countries and place them within the scope of their influence, so as to deprive them of will and independence.

He added: Countries that do not have political power are forced to submit and surrender ,noting that war is the tool used by colonial powers to control the fate of peoples.

He also stressed that the Iranian people, thanks to the wise and divine leadership of their leader, chose the path of power so that they would not have to surrender or wage wars.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Revolutionary Guards stressed that to prevent war, deterrence capabilities must be strengthened, stressing that Iran does not seek conflict or war with any country it recognizes, but rather relies on the principle of equal and fair interaction in international relations.
