The Israeli occupation’s Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday the arrival of a shipment of heavy MK-84 bombs, approved by US President Donald Trump after being suspended by former President Joe Biden about a year ago.
The delivery coincided with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s visit to the Israeli entity on his first Middle East tour.
Reports from Israel’s Army Radio revealed that the shipment includes 1,800 bombs, the same number previously withheld.
Biden’s administration had suspended the delivery of these bombs that weigh a ton for each of them following Israeli enemy airstrikes on Rafah in southern Gaza in May 2024, which caused substantial civilian casualties.
