The Israeli occupation has renewed its violation of the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon, including its breach of UN Security Council Resolution 1701.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the southern outskirts of the town of Aytaroun in southern Lebanon came under machine gun fire during sweeping operations by the Israeli occupation forces on Friday morning, in conjunction with preparations for the funeral of 130 martyrs from the town.
On Thursday, Lebanon’s official National News Agency reported that an Israeli drone struck a pickup truck as it was traveling on the outskirts of the city of Hermel, killing two individuals and injuring several other people.
Additionally, an Israeli drone strike hit a car on the Hosh al-Sayyed Ali-al-Qasr road in northern Hermel, killing two people.
