Salama Maarouf, the head of the government media office in Gaza, stated that the number of aid trucks entered Gaza over the past two days has not exceeded 30 percent of the expected volume, amid a significant decline in the flow of humanitarian aid and the movement of patients since Saturday.
Maarouf mentioned in press statements on Sunday that the occupation continues to violate the agreement as it disrupted the travel of the 15th batch of patients and wounded through the Rafah crossing today by delaying sending their lists, which hindered their exit procedures.
‘The escalation of these violations warns of the situation getting out of hand, which requires a decisive position from the mediators guaranteeing the agreement,” he said.
He added, “These obstacles confirm the occupation’s intention to undermine the first phase of the agreement by not adhering to the agreed-upon humanitarian protocol.”
