Major General Bakil bin Saleh Al-Wahbi, the commander of the Al-Wahbi Brigades, affirmed that the expulsion of US Marine forces from Sana’a represented a historic victory for the Yemeni people’s will and a crushing blow to the forces of global arrogance.
In a statement, Major General Bakil Al-Wahbi explained that the humiliating retreat of the US Marines was one of the fruits of the September 21 revolution, marking a pivotal moment in Yemen’s history. At that time, the Yemeni people rejected any form of guardianship or foreign intervention, reclaiming their national sovereignty and independent decision-making.
He pointed out that this historic shift would not have been possible without “the wisdom, insight, and courage of the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Badr al-Din al-Houthi, may God protect him, who led Yemen towards liberation from foreign domination.
