Millions of the Yemeni people took to the streets in the capital, Sana’a and other Yemeni provinces in mass rallies on Friday, reiterating their unflinching stance in support of the people of Palestine, their legitimate cause as well as the Axis of Resistance.
They held demonstrations in various districts, expressing solidarity with Palestinians and condemning US president’s plan to take over Gaza and relocate Palestinians to neighboring countries.
The demonstrators waved flags of Palestine and Yemen, while chanting slogans in denunciation of Donald Trump’s Gaza displacement scheme.
A statement was issued during the rallies, strongly rejected all displacement plans aimed at liquidating the Palestinian cause and condemned what it termed as the “Crime of the Century.” The statement also reaffirmed Yemen’s preparedness to confront the “tyrannical criminals.”
It carried a direct warning to the U.S. and Israeli leadership against executing Trump’s proposed displacement plan, stating: “The criminal tyrant Trump will bear the consequences of his actions if he proceeds with his threats.”
The statement reiterated Yemen’s firm commitment to Palestine, echoing Sayyed Abdul Malik al-Houthi’s words: “We have made a promise to the Palestinian people, and we will stand by them no matter the challenges or sacrifices required.”
“Your arrogant statements have only strengthened our certainty about America’s criminal nature and reinforced our commitment to the path of jihad for the sake of God. Alongside the free people of our nation, we will be the fire that burns your conspiracies to ashes, just as we have done before—despite your genocidal crimes against the Arab and Islamic world.”
Addressing Arab countries, especially those bordering Palestine, the statement warned: “The U.S.-Israeli displacement plan is part of the so-called ‘Greater Israel’ project and poses a direct threat to you before anyone else. Today, it faces widespread global rejection. If you refuse it, you will have shielded yourselves from disaster. But if you partake in this crime, you will find yourselves facing your own people’s wrath—and neither America nor Israel will save you. You will be the greatest losers in both this world and the hereafter.”
