More Than Three Thousand Families Displaced From Jenin & Its Camp

Zionist occupation army continues its aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp for the 33rd consecutive day, leaving 27 martyrs, and dozens of injuries and arrests.

The Palestinian News Agency “Wafa” reported that the occupation sent military reinforcements accompanied by bulldozers to the city of Jenin and the entrances to its camp, as well as water tanks and fortified military rooms used for internal military communications.

The “Wafa” Agency indicated that the occupation bulldozers left extensive destruction inside the camp’s neighborhoods, and in the homes of citizens and their properties, which greatly changed its features and geography, while infantry units were deployed in several areas inside it near the Shireen Abu Akleh roundabout, Talat al-Ghabz, and the new camp.
According to eyewitnesses, the Zionist occupation caused the displacement of about three thousand families from the Jenin camp, and destroyed their homes and properties.

The Zionist occupation continues to seize a number of Palestinian citizens’ homes and turn them into military barracks since the beginning of the aggression, especially in buildings close to and overlooking Jenin camp, while citizens, homes and buildings close to them face difficulties in entering, exiting and moving due to the constant presence of snipers, which puts their lives at risk.

Yesterday, the Zionist occupation forces arrested a Palestinian citizen from inside his vehicle while he was on Arrana Street east of Jenin city, and stormed the towns of Ya’bad, Araba and Bir al-Basha in the south, without reporting any arrests.

The ongoing Zionist aggression on Jenin city and its camp left 27 martyrs, the latest of whom was the child Rimas al-Amouri (13 years old), who was martyred yesterday after the Zionist occupation soldiers opened fire on her directly while she was in front of her house in the al-Jabariyat neighborhood around Jenin camp, where she was shot in the back that exited from the abdomen, and was transferred to the hospital before doctors announced her martyrdom, in addition to dozens of injuries and arrests.
