Abu Bilal, spokesperson for the Mujahideen Brigades, the armed wing of the Palestinian Mujahideen Movement, announced that the bodies of the Bibas family will be transferred in Gaza tomorrow.
He stated that the family was captured on 7 October 2023 and had been treated in accordance with Islamic teachings.
Bilal claimed that the Bibas family members were killed by Israeli airstrikes and that the Mujahideen Brigades had “preserved” their bodies.
Abu Bilal further noted that the Mujahideen Brigades had preserved the bodies of the Israeli prisoners throughout the stages of the war until the handover date.
On Tuesday, Khalil al-Hayya, head of the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” in the Gaza Strip and head of the negotiating delegation, announced that the movement and the resistance have decided to hand over four bodies of Israeli occupation prisoners next Thursday, in addition to releasing six living prisoners on Saturday, in exchange for the release of a similar number of Palestinian prisoners.
