Oil Minister Inspects Progress of Training Operations at Petroleum and Mineral Training Center

The Minister of Oil and Minerals, Dr. Abdullah Al-Amir, visited today to observe the progress of the training process at the Petroleum and Mineral Training Center, as well as the educational programs for the workforce in the oil and minerals sectors.

During the visit, the Minister emphasized the importance of developing the capabilities of national cadres and equipping them to meet the demands of the labor market in these two vital sectors.

He noted that investing in human resources is the cornerstone of achieving sustainable development.

He also inspected the training facilities at the center, including classrooms equipped with the latest devices and technologies.

The Minister received a briefing from the center’s director, Anas Al-Asbahi, on the training programs implemented by the center to qualify and train personnel.

He praised the efforts made by the center to develop the skills of workers in the oil and minerals sectors, stressing the need to keep pace with global technological advancements in the fields of oil and mining.”

Al-Amir affirmed the ministry’s commitment to supporting the center and providing the necessary resources to continue implementing high-quality training programs, which contribute to enhancing the capabilities of national cadres and enabling them to manage the oil and minerals sectors effectively.
