Prime Minister Inaugurates 189 Projects In Amran

Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi, along with his deputy, Minister of Administration and Local and Rural Development Mohammed Al-Madani, and Governor of Amran Dr. Faisal Jum’an, inaugurated 189 service, development projects, and community initiatives in Amran province today. The total cost of these projects is eight billion riyals.

Accompanied by the Ministers of Civil Service and Administrative Development, Dr. Khaled Al-Hawali; Education and Scientific Research, Hassan Al-Saadi; Health and Environment, Dr. Ali Shaiban; and the Governor of Amran, the Prime Minister unveiled the board of community projects and initiatives implemented across the various districts of the governorate.

The inaugurated projects include 45 water-related projects, 18 road projects, 9 health projects, and 3 educational projects, as well as 141 community initiatives.

These were co-financed by the local authority in the governorate, the Central Emergency Interventions Unit at the Ministry of Administration and Local and Rural Development, the Agricultural Financing Unit, and contributions from the local community.

In a statement following the inauguration, the Prime Minister emphasized the significance of these service and development projects for Amran.

He praised the active participation of community members in financing the community initiatives and congratulated both the people of Amran and the local authority for their achievements.

The Prime Minister also highlighted the importance of expanding these projects and prioritizing others that directly benefit the local population.

He stressed the need to focus on economic development initiatives that contribute to community stability and enhance the governorate’s role in serving the economy and ensuring food security.
