Demonstrations have been staged in several US cities to protest against the Trump administration’s plans to forcibly displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, according Palestinian news agency Wafa. Protesters condemned the efforts to depopulate Gaza through international pressure.
In New York, a march took place in Manhattan despite freezing temperatures and snowfall. Protesters voiced their rejection of the administration’s attempts to pressure countries into accepting the displacement plans.
Meanwhile, in Los Angeles, demonstrators waved Palestinian flags and carried banners denouncing the displacement scheme. Many emphasized that the people of Gaza were still reeling from the genocide carried out by Israel.
Another protest was held in Boston, Massachusetts, where participants expressed solidarity with Palestinians and rejected any plans to remove them from their land.
Demonstrators reaffirmed their support for Palestinian resilience in the face of what they described as ongoing attempts to erase their cause.
