The Yemeni capital, Sana’a, has witnessed a mass rally, marking the humiliating departure of the US Marines from Yemen on February 11, 2015.
Participants in the march, which took place outside the old American Embassy building, chanted slogans denouncing American arrogance, tyranny, and the aggression against Yemen and Palestine.
They raised the Yemeni and Palestinian flags while chanting slogans of victory, pride, and dignity, celebrating the expulsion of the American Marines from Sana’a.
The protesters emphasised their continued struggle against the global axis of evil—the US. Britain, and Israel—and reaffirmed their support for the Palestinian people and the causes of the Arab nation.
During the rally, speeches were delivered affirming that the September 21, 2014 revolution had yielded many victories, including the humiliating exit of the US Marines from Sana’a, breaking the chains of subjugation, and freeing Yemen from American and Western tutelage to freedom and independence.
The rally also praised Yemen’s support for the Palestinian people during the Al-Aqsa Flood battles, including imposing a naval blockade on the Zionist enemy and launching successive strikes deep inside the Zionist entity in solidarity with Palestine, Gaza, and the Arab nation’s causes.
A statement was issued during the rally, affirmed that the September 21 Revolution had eradicated decades of Western subordination and influence of their tools.
It noted that, through their blessed revolution, the Yemeni people had forced the American Marines to leave the capital Sana’a, on February 11, 2015, in disgrace and defeat.
The statement congratulated the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat and the great Yemeni people on this glorious anniversary.
The statement also reaffirmed the commitment to thwart all the America-Zionist schemes of against Yemen and the region, as well as the unwavering support for the Palestinian people until full liberation and the restoration of their land and sanctities
