The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Administration and Local and Rural Development, Jamal Al-Alawi, inaugurated the rehabilitation project of the health center in Al-Ja’afara district in Habish district, Ibb Governorate, and equipped it with medical equipment, as a community initiative.
During the opening, in the presence of the director of the district, Shawqi Al-Tuwaiti, Al-Alawi toured the center’s departments and clinics, listening to the director of the center, Dr. Hayat Al-Jaafari, explaining about the center and the services it provides to the people of the district and neighboring areas.
The Undersecretary Al-Alawi praised the initiative of the people of Al-Ja’afara, indicating that coordination will be made with the local authority to overcome all difficulties facing the center.
In addition, a meeting in the same directorate, headed by the Undersecretary Al-Alawi and attended by the Assistant Commander of the Fourth Military Region, Brigadier General Muhammad Al-Khalid, discussed aspects of work to develop development work and enhance community participation.
In the meeting, which included local, mobilization and community leaders, Al-Alawi praised the community initiative projects, pointing out the importance of activating and publicizing the cooperative society in the directorate.
He noted the support and contribution of the Central Emergency Interventions Unit and its provision of cement and diesel to encourage the establishment of initiative projects.
In turn, Al-Khaled pointed out the country’s need for a developmental renaissance that keeps pace with the military achievement, indicating the importance of the agricultural aspect and its pioneering role in this path.
While the director of the directorate confirmed that the local authority pays exceptional attention to the development aspect and initiatives, and the directorate has recorded many community projects in various fields and in most areas and isolations.
In the same context, Al-Alawi and Al-Khaled, along with the director of the directorate, made inspection visits to a number of community initiative projects currently being implemented.
